A full-stack expense management platform (Spring Boot backend + Flutter mobile client) built solo end-to-end, with a strong focus on automated testing across both the API and mobile layers.

- Designed and implemented a complete JWT authentication system (registration, login, password reset, BCrypt password encryption) to support secure multi-user account isolation.
- Engineered RESTful APIs for transaction management with filtering, validation, and pagination; integrated the Google Gemini API to convert natural-language input into structured financial records, cutting manual data entry.
- Added currency conversion with cached exchange rates and fallback handling so the app keeps working through third-party API outages or rate limits.

A hotel management backend supporting reservations, payments, invoicing, and reporting through 70+ RESTful API endpoints, with integration-level testing against real databases rather than mocks.

- Set up integration-testing environments with Testcontainers to run tests against real MySQL/MongoDB instances instead of mocks, and configured JaCoCo to track code coverage across the codebase.
- Wrote unit and integration tests with JUnit to verify business logic across the reservation, payment, and invoicing modules, catching edge cases before release.
- Designed and implemented 70+ RESTful API endpoints for reservations, payments, invoicing, and reporting, secured with a custom JWT implementation (Nimbus JOSE, HMAC HS512) including refresh-token rotation and token blacklisting for secure logout/session invalidation.
- Designed a role-based permission model to differentiate access across staff, admin, and guest roles, and defined DTO-based API contracts to decouple internal entities from external responses.
- Designed relational database schemas in MySQL with Spring Data JPA covering reservations, guests, rooms, payments, and invoices.
- Personally authored the full system-analysis documentation (functional/non-functional requirements by role, feasibility analysis, task breakdown, data-flow diagrams) underpinning the system design.
